Mini Woolies at Wangaratta gives people with disability the opportunity to develop practical life and workplace skills in a fun, supportive and realistic supermarket setting.

Created in partnership with Woolworths Group and Fujitsu, Mini Woolies is a simulated supermarket designed to help participants build confidence, independence and job-ready skills through hands-on learning. The space includes supermarket-style registers, shelving, fresh food displays, uniforms and name badges, creating an experience that looks and feels like a real supermarket. 

Mini Woolies is more than a learning space — it's a stepping stone towards greater independence, community participation and employment.

By practising real-world retail tasks, participants gain valuable experience that can help prepare them for volunteer roles, work experience placements and future employment opportunities. The program supports participants to develop transferable skills that can be used across many industries and workplaces.

Mini Woolies forms part of our Pathways to Possibility (P2P), Community Connections programs, where people are encouraged to:
